Producer and narrator Anthony Bourdain explores the creative processes of international celebrity chefs to learn what fuels their culinary artistry. Ludo Lefebvre’s passion for fried chicken began with his first bite of KFC. Now his LudoBird fast-food eatery perfects the classic chicken sandwich. Ludo and his two partners tour their three LA strip-mall restaurants: French-Mexican Trois Familia, set-menu Trois Mec and French bistro Petit Trois. In Brittany, France, Ludo watches mentor Alain Passard prepare a fresh lobster, and forages for herbs and clams with spice expert Olivier Roellinger. Ludo visits Alain Passard’s inspiring vegetable garden in Normandy, gets Iñaki Aizpitarte’s take on macédoine and makes his own popular “potato pulp.”
